My next door neighbor has the Gran Marquis version, same color, brown velour. 87 or 88. His brother has an 89 Crown Vic in silver with blue interior.
Edit: I lied. Theirs are sedans.

YAAAAAAS. Two-door Panther is sexiest Panther.
Big’n’Slow’s restomod Merc Coupe is still my most favorite Panther of all time. I would daily the hell out of it. Until gas prices hit $4 a gallon, anyways.

I drove a gray ‘86 2 door in high school. Well, I drove my dad’s. Fun car to tool around in, except with the recognizable headlight pattern, everyone slowed down to 5 under when I was behind them.

I always thought the 92+ Panthers would’ve looked good as a 2-door, so I made this shop:

Hell no... these things were SHIT. My dad had the Mercury version... a 1982 Grand Marquis 4 door. Gas guzzling, rusting, low-performance, crappy handling
piece of shit.
And given this is a 1984 model, it has the same crappy carb’d 302 “no output” V8 my dad’s Grand Marquis had.
